Modesto Bank

The Modesto Bank Building was crowned with a cupola with a four dial Seth Thomas clock. The dials were 5 and a half feet in diameter. The building was designed by Stockton architect George Rushforth who later designed the matching Masonic Hall.

From 1893 to 1906, in the middle of the intersection in front of the bank at 10th and I stood the Rogers Family Memorial Fountain. Behind and to the right of the memorial is the site of the Modesto Bank and the Gallo Center for the Arts.
