The Building Imagination Center is a project of California State University Stanislaus. The university has invited the Modesto Art Museum to host a year of visual arts events in the Building Imagination Gallery.
A vacant storefront in downtown Modesto has been transformed into a space for video and visual arts exhibitions, arts education, and artist residencies.
