events in various locations in Modesto including galleries,
buildings of other museums, cafes, shops, parks, and street fairs.

Q: Why is membership free?
A: The Modesto Art Museum has separated individual contributions
from membership. We want as many people as possible to be part of
the museum community, including those who are not able to make
financial contributions. Additionally, as much as possible, museum
events are free or of low cost. Everyone is encouraged to make a
personal financial contribution at any time, but especially during
the annual appeal.
